Speed Test

The Active Tests screen's speed test measures your connection's latency, download, and upload speed directly from your browser.

What you can do

• Run a test on demand and see latency/download/upload results.
• Set it to repeat automatically — off, or every 1/5/15/30/60 minutes — so you get a trend over time instead of a single snapshot. Your chosen interval is remembered for next time.
• Navigate to other screens while it keeps running — a running test (and its repeat schedule) survives you moving to a different part of the app, as long as the browser tab stays open.

Why it matters

A single speed test tells you about one moment. A repeating one can catch a pattern — e.g. slow only at certain times of day — without you needing to babysit it.
