Everyone.

Active Handshake Trigger (Deauth)

Admin-only to change; visible to everyone.

This toggle controls whether a focused capture on a client is allowed to offer the "force reconnect to capture the encryption handshake" option. It's off by default. Turning it on means, when someone runs a client capture, they'll see the option to briefly force that device to disconnect and reconnect Wi-Fi so a fresh handshake can be captured for decryption.

Non-admins see a note that only an Admin can change this setting.

Why it matters

The deauth option is powerful for diagnosis (it guarantees a decryptable handshake) but does briefly disrupt the target device's connection — gating it behind an explicit Admin opt-in means it's a deliberate organizational choice, not something anyone can trigger by accident.
